Webart Technology Is a Terrible and Hopelessly Inept Company
They Phone Me Repeatedly For No Reason
They Are Very Badly Run and Seem Completely Disorganized
Webart Technology webart.technology phones me all the time, trying to sell me their services. I tell them I am retired and have no business, but they keep phoning.
They claim they can do web development, SEO, and digital marketing, but from what I've seen, I wouldn't trust them to boil an egg.
Here is a list of their most recent phone calls:
- Oct 13, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. Oct 10 guy guaranteed me that he would add me to the DNC list - LOL. As if these Webart morons could ever figure out how to make a DNC list.
- Oct 10, 2025 - 1 minute call. This guy seemed nice. I showed him how to find this blog. He said he would add me to their DNC list so they would stop phoning. We'll see if anything changes.
- Oct 9, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. He started by asking me what I wanted - as if I had phoned him - and I had to explain that he is the one who phoned me. They do not hire smart people. He hung up before I could explain how I am documenting what a terrible company Webart is.
- Oct 7, 2025 - 1 minute call. I tried to explain this blog, but this guy was a real idiot who couldn't understand anything I said and didn't know what a VPS was.
- Sep 15, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. She introduced herself and I said "Hello Webart Technology, how are you today?" and she hung up. Weirdo.
- Sep 11, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. She introduced herself but hung up after I told her that Webart calls me every day.
- Sep 10, 2025 - 1 minute call. Fun fact - if you Google "webart technology calls me" this page now comes up first or second! I told this to the Webart lady who phoned just now, and she went away.
- Sep 9, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. "No business here! No business here!" click
- Sep 9, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. Yelling "No business here! No business here!" in a weird voice makes them hang up, I find.
- Aug 26, 2025 - 2 minute call. He had questions about my old company. I answered. He hung up.
- Aug 20, 2025 - 2 minute call. He wanted to know about my old Miku domain that I let expire. Maybe I should re-register it and point it here.
- Aug 18, 2025 - 4 minute call. He apologized for their failure to remove my phone number from their call list and guaranteed me that he would see that I was removed and that I would receive no further calls.
- Aug 14, 2025 - 1 minute call. He apologized for all the phone calls and said he would removed my phone number from their call list. Ha ha ha. Yeah, sure. Let's see if they can manage that.
- Aug 13, 2025 - 4 minute call. They are getting weird. They say they love me and they have my picture at their office and they look at my picture every day and they listen to our old phone call recordings.
- Aug 11, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. He ignored my first set of comments, but he did catch on to the "I am retired" part.
- Aug 11, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. "Webart Technology is a terrible company. You phone me all the time. I don't know why.". Click.
- Aug 5, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. Yup, they do not like it when I answer the phone "Webart Technology is a terrible company". So that is how I answer the phone these days. Good job with the viral marketing, Webart.
- Aug 1, 2025 - 0.5 minute call. Second call in an hour. Apparently my answering the phone "Webart Technology is a terrible company" seems to put them off.
- Aug 1, 2025 - 4 minute call. Same old nonsense. Keeps trying to sell to me when I tell them I am retired. 40 years in the business and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
- Jul 28, 2025 - 1 minute call. There had previously been many missed calls and hangups that I suspect were them. This call ended quickly after I told them I was retired. If they kept it to just one call a month, I wouldn't mind so much.
- Jul 1, 2025 - 5 minute call. They asked about Canada Day which was nice. I gave them my blog URL. I think he said they would stop calling, but it was a very poor connection. They must be using a very cheap trash phone system.
- Jun 24-27, 2025 - four missed calls. All tagged as "Likely Spam" and from various US states, which is how their calls always present. Was probably them.
- Jun 16, 2025 - 10 second phone call. They called back but hung up right away. I guess they haven't fully figured out how to use a phone.
- Jun 16, 2025 - 3.5 minute phone call. They hung up when I tried to give them my website URL.
- Jun 13, 2025 - 2.5 minute phone call. Second call today! I told them I was building a website to document how useless they are.
- Jun 13, 2025 - 0.5 minute phone call. Got rid of them quickly this time.
- Jun 10, 2025 - missed the call and they left no message, but I'm pretty sure it was them.
- Jun 9, 2025 - 1.0 minute phone call. I don't remember how this one went. These calls all kind of blend together after a while.
- Jun 2, 2025 - 2.0 minute phone call. I tell them I don't operate a business, and it sounds like they maybe understand after a bit of me repeating it. But they don't seem capable of retaining or documenting this information, because they always phone back.
- There were several calls before this, but I can't remember them as well. You get the idea.
